Connie Simmers has received many awards and exhibited widely across the UK with the RGI, the PAI and the RSA and has work in many private collections, notably @museumsunista, St Andrews. An active member of the artistic community, Simmers has participated on various councils while practicing as an artist including: as Vice President of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists 1982-92; on the Steering Committee for the @friendsofgsa 2009-12 and as Artist Vice President of @glasgowartclub 2009-12.⠀
