Buro Art’s objective is to bring our knowledge and passion for art to businesses across Scotland by providing them with well chosen, colourful and professionally framed pictures at affordable prices.
Originally established over 25 years ago by Eric and Margaret Dawson, Buro Art’s Director, Ron Scott-Duncan has expanded upon the business’ founding core values and beliefs in the benefits of art for offices.
We believe Buro Art is the only company devoted to office-based art in Scotland.

Ron Scott-Duncan
With a background in Interior Landscaping, Ron has over 25 years’ experience in design, installation and maintenance of healthy office environments in Edinburgh. Collaboration lies at the heart of all projects, and Ron has experience in working well with architects, designers, office and facilities managers, management agents and business owners throughout Scotland.
Nicky Brooks
Starting as a practicing artist, Nicky has an Undergraduate degree in Fine Art from Gray’s School of Art Aberdeen. Her subsequent Masters in Art History, Theory & Display from Edinburgh University has provided the foundations to over 10 years’ experience as a Curator, Gallery Manager, Project Manager and Designer
